10 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Dynamite (April 14)

6. No Means No

Team Taz
AEW

Rather than drawing out the Christian/Team Taz situation for weeks on end, AEW brought it to a close last night.

"No," said Christian in response to Taz's invitation to join the stable. His bravado ended up coming back to bite him as Powerhouse House attacked him in the ring, battered him on the outside, and set up next week's singles match, furthering Team Taz's image as roughhouse bullies.

Ricky Starks and Brian Cage were told to stay in the back after pointing out that the other Cage was wasting their time. In the end, Taz realised they were right, losing patience with Christian from the moment he hit the ring with Hook and Hobbs. Dropping his lines in bellicose Brooklynese, Taz deflected a Christian jab at his height by saying that if he stood on his wallet, he'd be 10ft over Cage's "big head," letting him know that saying "no" would be the biggest mistake of his life.

Here's hoping this ends with Starks facing Cage at Double Or Nothing next month. A potentially delicious pay-per-view match.
