5. Ogogo Blasts The Competition

Anthony Ogogo
AEW

Anthony Ogogo looked great in his short burst against Cole Karter, whom he put away in under a minute.

The two grappled early, trading holds for a short while - but only until Ogogo found his opening. A short, sharp body shot put Karter on the mat and prompted the referee to call for an immediate stoppage, immediately pushing the former Olympian's punching power.

Going with a body shot rather than a traditional knockout blow was a smart move on a show that saw Mike Tyson send Cash Wheeler to the shadow realm, and Ogogo shined in this short match. The guy has a screen-filling presence and proved that he can cut a promo last week. While greater tests will come in longer matches, the whole presentation was spot on here.
