10 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Dec 30)

7. No Room For Your Sh*t

The Acclaimed Young Bucks Colt Cabana
AEW

This was one of the only stories pushed on Wednesday night.

Post-six man, The Acclaimed came out to get on their soap box about The Young Bucks and basically steal the spotlight. Before they could really get going, SCU attacked from behind and shoved them into the ring for stereo superkicks from Matt and Nick Jackson. Then, Colt added a double elbow for good measure.

AEW did a good job of keeping The Bucks vs. Acclaimed thing going here without encroaching on the emotion of the evening or eating up too much time. It's important to remember in amongst all the tears that Brodie Lee loved pro wrestling. Maybe it would've made him smile to see a good old fashioned wrasslin' angle here?

Who knows, but this was at least short enough to remain inoffensive. One cannot blame AEW's writers for injecting a little story into a stressful situation, or for trying to entertain fans with some traditional heel comeuppance.
