10 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Dec 30)

3. Jericho’s Dog

Chris Jericho Brodie Lee
AEW

The beauty of these pre-recorded eulogies is that each one had something different to say. Moxley spoke of how Brodie brought people together as "community", Eddie Kingston encouraged Brodie Jr to remember his father fondly and Chris Jericho shared a fun story about his grumpy dog.

Yes, his grumpy dog. Le Chesapeake Bay Retriever (only kidding - who knows what breed he is).

Apparently, Jericho's dog isn't a people person. In fact, that little bastard hates strangers and refuses to be friendly. He's basically the ultimate heel, but he liked being around Brodie Lee. That, to Jericho, told him everything he needed to know about Brodie.

He promised to take care of Lee's family too, and said he was proud to play a part in bringing him to AEW earlier this year. Despite all of that loveliness, it's the dog story that stood out here. Big Brodie even managed to charm one of the most bad-tempered animals around.
