10 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest (Jul 1)

8. MJF Breaks It Down

MJF Wardlow
AEW

MJF is never not good on the microphone and having him open last night's show with some barbs was a smart idea, as 'The Salt of the Earth' gave viewers another reason to get into his well-built tag match.

The convergence of the MJF/Jungle Boy and Wardlow/Luchasaurus rivalries was the prodigy's first topic. MJF said he had a bad case of deja vu and was sick and tired of having to beat his opponents over, saying Jungle Boy had "repaid" him for giving him the best match of his career (Double or Nothing) by refusing to let the issue die. Having meditated on it, the reason clicked: there's a wrestling war going on and per the man himself, you can't get a W without MJF on the frontline.

Lord knows AEW could use one this week.

Just a cracking heel promo, this. There isn't a whole lot to analyse: it was too short and straightforward for that, but it didn't need anything more.
