10 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (Apr 29)

Downs...

1. Con-Chair-No

Best Friends Jimmy Havoc
AEW

Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian vs. Best Friends could have been something sick. The no disqualifications/no countouts stipulation suited Havoc and Chuck Taylor, who revealed himself an underrated plunder brawler during his time as EVOLVE's DUSTIN, though the end product was an awkward, stunted match guzzled up by too many table-setting moments.

It's never much fun when too much time is spent positioning chairs and ladders up for hardcore spots, which was unfortunately the case here. The wrestlers worked hard enough and the layout made sense to continue the feud, with Orange Cassidy diving onto Sabian and Penelope Ford to allow Taylor's running Awful Waffle onto chairs for the victory, but the journey to get there didn't hit.

A trios match could be next for Best Friends, Orange Cassidy, and the newly-christened Superbad Death Squad, who have vowed to cut a violent path through the AEW tag division.
