10 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (Apr 29)

7. Wardlow Is F*cking Great

The Wardlow

Wow, these Wardlow squashes are something else.

MJF's heater is being built through quick bursts of dominance and awesome, eye-catching offense. The guy's moveset is incredible. As well as the F10 and release suplexes, he's got a belting spot where he pulls the opponent down from the top turnbuckle right into a knee, as he showed against Musa last night, and yes, he's rather adept at ragdolling these opponents "like Steven Tyler." It's effective as hell.

Truer tests will come when Wardlow is asked to work longer runtimes against higher-ranked opposition, though the story-driven cage match with Cody bodes well in that regard. AEW may well have something special on their hands in Wardlow.
