10 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (Apr 29)

5. Nice Neck Brace, Bell-End

Speaking of d*ckhead heel promos, here's MJF, whose life-threatening hangnail has healed and has now been replaced by something even worse.

This was Maxwell Jacob Friedman all dressed up before a fancy painting, telling us his doctors had never seen such a miraculous turnaround. He'd gone from death's door to not only healing, but overhealing, giving him the strongest nail in the world, though a terrible misfortune struck him while getting TV ready. 'The Salt of the Earth' nicked himself while shaving. Cue: MJF pulling his scarf away to reveal a comedy neck brace and him claiming that a normal man would have bled out and died, but he's a warrior, baby.

MJF will be back in the building for next week's Dynamite, apparently. This likely means the end of these silly injury bits for now, though it sounds like Friedman is about to sink his teeth into something meatier.
