10 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Jun 24)

Ups...

10. Video Packages Everywhere

Two of AEW's biggest Fyter Fest feuds were pushed forward through slick, well-produced video packages last night, with the Kenny Omega/Hangman Page vs. Best Friends and Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage programmes strengthened through back-to-back vignettes

Both of these worked. Page was a highlight in the tag clip ("we'll see you two weirdos at Fyter Fest"/"them boys are good. I mean, I'm still gonna whip their ass, but they're good"), which pushed the idea that Hangman and Kenny might not be great pals, but they are the best tag team. The second, meanwhile, was all about highlighting the difference in aggression, with Tony Schiavone's suggestion that Cage is too wild for Taz to control foreshadowing how 'The Machine' could lose at Fyter Fest.

While WWE's video production team has long been considered the best in the business (and understandably so - they're fantastic), these vignettes didn't feel second-rate at all. Very well done indeed.
