10 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Jun 24)

Brodie Lee Colt Cabana
AEW

Mr. Brodie Lee's coercion of Colt Cabana continued after their match, with The Dark Order leader saying winning feels good, success feels good, and if Colt will allow him one more opportunity to show him the way, he'd do so at Fyter Fest.

This led to the announcement of Cabana, Lee, and Stu Grayson vs. the full SoCal Uncensored unit on the supercard. Colt was unsure of this, questioning the Dark Order leader fleetingly, but had his protestations stifled as Brodie kept on talking to the camera, telling SCU they were in his sight.

It works because AEW has gone out of the way to establish Colt's friendship with SCU, on top of the babyfaces' old rivalry with the Order. Little details like that are why watching this show is so satisfying. While these points aren't critical to the story, they reward those paying enough attention to recognise the superior world-building on Dynamite.
