10 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Jun 30)
3. A Constant Amazement
No matter the situation, Chris Bey will never fail to amaze whenever he steps through the ropes. His alliance with Johnny Swinger as of late has been surprisingly excellent, something we can't often say about anything that involves 'The Swing Man'. Needless to say, Bey's show-opening bout with Suicide was a thing of beauty.
'The Ultimate Finesser' always finds a way to incorporate new and impressive manoeuvres into his repertoire, as we saw with a handful of his hard-hitting strikes throughout the match here. Even the small things, such as the way he moves around the ring to set up for his next attack, make him a spectacular performer. Simply put, Chris Bey truly is one of the best acquisitions made by Impact this year, if not the best. That says a lot considering the number of signings the company has made in 2020 thus far.
A Beymouser scored the win for Bey - albeit not the nicest-looking execution of the move - after Swinger shoved 'The Masked Man of Mystery' off the turnbuckles. Apart from a failed run in earlier on in the contest, this was the only intervention from Swinger during the entire match.
Quite the contrast from what we're used to.
