10 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Jun 30)
8. Just Two Good Teams
Fallah Bahh and TJP originally started off as a bit of an oddball tandem, but now they're always quite the highlight whenever they appear on Impact programming. Their bout with Reno Scum wasn't the best thing on the show; however, it was still a highly entertaining tag team contest.
Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend kicked the match off immediately, ambushing Fallah and TJP before the bell rang. The way they just maul their opponents separates them from the other teams who decide to use 'proper' tag team moves en-route to victory. Granted, their assisted double stomp to the head finisher is an immensely beautiful image when used, but their mauling style makes them one of the more under-appreciated teams Impact have.
The ending of this one was particularly excellent, as TJP shoved Adam Thornstowe off the top rope onto the shoulders of Fallah for a Samoan drop, followed up by a Mamba Splash from the inaugural WWE Cruiserweight Champion. Seeing as the duo sort of go from win to loss to win to loss could be classed as 50/50 booking, however, their matches are a bit more spaced out, which makes it alright really.
Why did TJP keep his entrance jacket on for the whole match though?
