10 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Oct 28)
Downs...
3. Alan Lives
When interviewed by Gary Cassidy earlier this week, Miro claimed that he couldn't give a hoot what people think of his 'Best Man' gimmick (or, indeed, his clothing) which is good, as it shows he isn't insecure and doesn't need validation to be happy in what he's doing.
The story pitting him and Kip Sabian against Best Friends still isn't hitting, though. This week's developments saw the heels sucker Trent and Chuck Taylor in with a Halloween gift, batter them around a locker-room, and reveal a new control panel for Alan - the shattered gaming cabinet around which this feud is based.
It'd be an easier pill to swallow if the comedy was funnier, but it still feels too light to take seriously, despite whatever happens at the inevitable Sabian/Penelope Ford wedding angle.
