10 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Jan 22)

2. This Ain't It, Britt

Ohhhhhhh no.

Britt Baker's promo wasn't good. At all. Delivered with zero confidence and clear discomfort, it was genuinely tough to watch, with the dentist entirely unconvincing as she ripped on Tony Schiavone for once working in Starbucks, called herself a role model and the hottest girl on the boat, said she was smart, educated, brilliant, and a dentist, and didn't stop until Jim Ross interrupted. "We've had enough," he said - and he was right.

The feed switched with Baker still talking away, bringing this awkward segment to a merciful end. This is worrying. Britt didn't take as a babyface and if this promo is evidence, she may not take as a heel either. It's too early to say for sure, of course, but this was a minor league interview from somebody fans are supposed to receive as a potential major league star. The act needs a lot of work.
