10 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Jan 22)

1. Spoiler Alert

Kenny Omega Hangman Page
AEW

How do you spoil your own title fight 24 hours before the show even hits the airwaves? If you work for AEW's social media team, the answer is "easily."

AEW's Twitter account screwed the pooch on Tuesday night. With Dynamite taped in advance, whoever runs the page posted that Hangman Page and Kenny Omega had defeated SoCal Uncensored to become Tag Team Champions. A crazy, crazy move, given that all but those onboard would be able to watch the match before Wednesday.

There's no defence for this, really. It's unfathomable. While your writer was one of the fortunate few to avoid the spoiler ahead of time, countless AEW fans would've had the big surprise ruined for them, thus putting a dampener on a mighty fine match and important character moment for Page and Omega. Fingers crossed this never happens again.
