Those who read our Dark Ups & Downs article will know this columnist has been campaigning for Sonny Kiss to get on Dynamite for a while now, so it was good to see 'The Concrete Rose' show up on the flagship, offering Joey Janela a lift after a short, reflective segment in which 'The Bad Boy' meditated on losing his direction in AEW.

The duo drove off into the night, kickstarting something new for a couple of talented midcarders who needed a storyline to sink their teeth into.

This works. Kiss and Janela have showcased surprising chemistry in their tag team outings on Dark, so it's not like AEW just randomly threw the pair together for a vignette. Let's see where the next few weeks take us.
