10 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 4)

1. No Control

Whenever the law gets involved with wrestling, it usually follows a wonderful brawl. We saw it earlier this year on WWE Raw with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Ronda Rousey being taken away in the police cars, and now we're seeing it here as Brian Cage was put in cuffs following his rampage.

Sami Callihan and the rest of oVe were in the ring, several security guards surrounding them, as Sami began to deliver an apology letter to Cage and Melissa Santos last week. As anyone could've predicted though, the letter wasn't a sincere one, and it wasn't long before we heard the music of the 'Machine' as he stormed out to defend his and his wife's honor.

The security guards, Madman Fulton, and the Crist brothers all felt the wrath of the reigning Impact World Champion as Cage made his way over to Callihan but after the number one contender managed to escape, the champ instead slammed a fan to the floor of the venue. As a result, he was led away by police officers as Scott D'Amore had him arrested for his unprofessional behaviour towards the spectator.

A spectacular angle from start to finish here. Everything was great - from Sami's insincere letter of apology to Brian fighting his way through all the obstacles in order to get to his arch-rival. Having the top champion arrested this close to the biggest show of the year adds a new level of intrigue to the story too. Nothing terrible to note whatsoever here.
