10 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Jan 29)

Ups...

10. The Good Brothers Still Exist

As dumb as this Shinsuke Nakamura/Rusev team-up angle is, it was nice to see Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows back on WWE television last night, particularly as the duo have wrestled only four televised matches since June 2018.

A quick backstage segment saw the Good Brothers take umbrage with Nakamura and Rusev's assault on R-Truth. They confronted the heels, saying Truth had "dog-walked" them and didn't deserve what came to him, before Rusev told them to run back to catering. This led to the inevitable tag team challenge, and Ru-Ru warning Nakamura not to screw him over after the Brothers Bald had made their exit.

Nothing groundbreaking here, but a fine, functional segment nonetheless, and Gallows and Anderson being back in the mix warrants the Up alone. Them losing to the argumentative all-star team would be daft, though.
