So we're getting Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at Fastlane. That's awesome, and your writer can't wait to see how it goes down following The New Day man's recent performances.

Shane McMahon broke the news after Kingston had pinned Bryan in the main event, which isn't anywhere near as troublesome as Mandy Rose's win over Asuka. The two aren't even remotely similar, in fact. Asuka is smart, cunning killer, who adapts her approach based on her opponent, yet she was made to look an idiot against Rose. Bryan, meanwhile, is a snivelling little coward who takes shortcuts and hides behind his human shield, and should fall short every now and then. That's why his loss works and Asuka's doesn't.

Kingston feels like the real deal at the moment. He's got bags of momentum, is over as hell, and is hitting all the right notes between the ropes. Whether this should result in a WWE Championship reign is up for debate, but imagine complaing about the prospect of him facing Bryan one-on-one.

Maybe, if we're lucky, it'll last all the way to WrestleMania 35...
