10 Ups & 8 Downs From AEW Fight For The Fallen

7. No Silence In The Library

'The Librarian' gimmick is evolving. With "maintain silence in the library" plastered across the big screen, 'Pretty' Peter Avalon hit the ring with no entrance music, enhancing the jeers that poured from every corner of Daily's Place. He then cut a solid little promo before facing Sonny Kiss, claiming to have "something very important to tell you" before his opponent interrupted, putting on a show with the Jacksonville Jaguars' cheerleading team at the top of the ramp before hitting the ring.

The match itself was a considerable improvement on Leva Bates' tie-up with Allie at Fyter Fest, though it was never going to be difficult for Kiss and Avalon to outdo that drab affair. Regardless, the duo's strong clash of personalities and styles resulting in a sold Buy In battle laced with colour and character, concluding with Sonny Kiss scoring the victory from the top rope, handing the 'Librarians' their second consecutive loss.

Never designed to be a show-stealer, the bout will probably prove too shtick-heavy for some. Regardless, the crowd were into it, both guys go their personalities across, and there were no objective flaws. That's an Up.
