After a somewhat disappointing WWE Championship match, Shinsuke Nakamura went to present the title to champ AJ Styles and knelt in a subservient manner.

Just as this writer prepared to write a “down” about it, Nakamura delivered a low blow and proceeded to batter Styles with kicks, finally hitting a Kinshasa on the floor to lay AJ out. It was the kind of heel turn fans didn’t see coming, and it was exactly what was needed after that bout.

A respect feud is great, and it can produce great results. But Shinsuke as a villain certainly could open some interesting doors going forward.
