10 Ups And 13 Downs From WWE WrestleMania 35
7. Women’s Tag Match Plays To Silence
Unless the crowd mics were turned off, it was eerily silent during the WWE Women’s Championship fatal four-way match.
The bout itself was a disjointed mess, without any real flow. Nia Jax and Tamina were knocked out of the bout for long periods. Beth Phoenix looked good in her return to regular action, even hitting a super-Glam Slam that proved to be the difference – only for the Iiconics to steal the pin.
Yes, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce won the tag titles. The afterthought tag team that annoys on the mic and underperforms in the ring won. Even Nia & Tamina would have been better.
And even that could have been overlooked a bit if the match had been any good, but it wasn’t.
