10 Ups And 14 Downs For WWE In 2015 (So Far)

5. Being Truth-ful

One of the worst things for a wrestler has to be realizing that he or she has peaked, that there is nowhere to go but down. Try as they might, but they will never reach that level again. That can very easily be said about R-Truth, whose best days are long behind him, and he€™s been reduced to €œcomic€ relief. Truth spent the early part of this year stealing and re-stealing the Intercontinental Championship from then-champ Bad News Barrett. No one thought he had a chance in the IC title ladder match at WrestleMania XXXI, and he lived up (down?) to those expectations. He had a memorable (for all the wrong reasons) moment in a match against Stardust when he opened a bag to reveal a bunch of plastic spiders. You see, Truth has a phobia of spiders, so he freaked out and was rolled up for the pin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PS35wJJ4VPQ Oh, but it got worse. Shortly after winning the aforementioned King of the Ring tournament, Barrett lost to R-Truth, which led Truth to believe he suddenly was the new king of the WWE. He donned a bedsheet and started carrying a plunger to the ring. Truth must be entertaining someone, because it€™s not like fans are rallying around the plunger-wielding court jester.
