10 Ups And 14 Downs For WWE In 2015 (So Far)

9. New Life For The New Day

Similar to the team they defeated for the WWE Tag Team Championships, the New Day was directionless heading into 2015 and basically on life support. Then, the trio started doing something interesting: They got more positive. At first it was subtle, but within a few months, it became clear that New Day was taking its positive message to the hilt so that it was obvious that they were anything but sincere. This new New Day was clearly phony, and it worked. Within a short period, the group captured the tag titles, breathing new life into the team. It wasn€™t quite the Nation of Domination that had been speculated last summer, but this heel faction was entertaining and talented€ and then they lost their tag titles to the Prime Time Players last month. (As of this writing, Battleground hasn€™t taken place, so it€™s unclear if this was just a temporary diversion for the tag titles.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlBTowpS8gA Regardless, New Day was floundering when the year started and has managed to gain traction, so much so that they get a good reaction from fans and are a pretty entertaining part of Raw. That€™s a reason to stay positive.
