After last week’s failed effort, it felt like this was an in-joke by the writers to have Titus O’Neil announce that he was rebranding himself and going to launch himself into the stratosphere… and then he promptly lost to Sami Zayn.

But then this week, he got toppled by the juggernaut that is R-Truth after O’Neil was pissed that Truth “stole” his Payday bar endorsement deal. No, seriously. It’s like Booker T and Edge feuding over shampoo 14 years ago, except it’s not. And just like that, Titus is a joke.

Of course, we’ll reserve the possibility that this is leading somewhere, but WWE’s track record hasn’t exactly been stellar on stuff like this.
