8. Welcome Back Neville

A small thumbs-up to Neville, who returned to action Monday night after missing four months with a fractured ankle. The high-flier won convincingly over Curtis Axel, re-establishing himself on the roster.

However, you have to feel for Neville, who didn’t get much of a sustained reaction from fans, save for his highlight reel Red Arrow to win the bout. Part of that is due to the fact that Neville just meandered from meaningless angle to meaningless angle. (Remember when Miz wanted him to teach him how to do a British accent? WWE writers probably don’t either.) It’s hard for fans to be invested in him when the writers aren’t.

But there’s a silver lining for Neville, with the Cruiserweight Division coming to Raw in the coming months. That could present a very real opportunity for the Man That Gravity Forgot to showcase his talent and make an impact.
