It’s one thing for a wrestler to talk about one of their favorite competitors growing up. It’s another to dress like them or appropriate a move or mannerism.

But when Sasha Banks stole Eddie Guerrero’s tactic of tossing a weapon to someone and feigning injury, that was sheer awesomeness. During her Women’s Championship match against Charlotte, Sasha tossed the title belt to protégé Dana Brooke, then collapsed to the floor. The ref, having already seen Dana trip Banks earlier, ejected Brooke from ringside.

Banks gave a wink and a wave goodbye, just to drive it home a little more painfully for Dana. It was a fun moment in the match that was the perfect callback to Eddie. Nicely done.
