10 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 2nd)

8. Breezing Through His Debut

Much like any young kid at Christmas time, WWE writers love to get their hands on shiny new toys. In this case, the €œtoys€ are wrestlers called up from NXT. The problem with this analogy is that much like a kid who plays with his new toys a lot right away and gets tired of it, the same sometimes is true of WWE writers, as they lose focus and direction with new wrestlers. Avoiding overexposure in the early stages helps ward off this problem, which is why it€™s nice to see Tyler Breeze being limited in how much he€™s done in his first couple weeks on the main roster. Prince Pretty hasn€™t had an official match on Raw or Smackdown yet, sticking to strutting to ringside and taking up a seat in the VIP section with Summer Rae. Monday, we saw Breeze distract Dolph Ziggler, then enter the ring after the match, hit a Beauty Shot and snap a selfie with Summer and a fallen Dolph. It looks like things are leading to a match at Survivor Series, which might also end up being Breeze€™s official in-ring debut. While it would be nice for non-NXT fans to see what Tyler can do in the ring beforehand, there€™s something to be said about making a splash at a big show.
