10 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 2nd)

6. Setting The Table

The Survivor Series elimination match was more than just a Raw main event €“ it also served to potentially set up two new programs for the Survivor Series PPV, both of which would be title matches. If that holds, it would mean that four of the five major titles are set to be defended. First up, the returning Usos eliminated two-thirds of the reigning WWE Tag Team Champions, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. Big E would get revenge by eliminating one of the brothers. The Usos were the dominant tag team in WWE before Jey went down in March with a shoulder injury. It only makes sense to vault them back to the top and see if they can unseat the New Day. The other possible rivalry was a little more subtle, but if it happens, it could be a really great feud. Dean Ambrose managed to pin Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens after Seth Rollins accidentally knocked him silly. Ambrose could very easily decide that since he pinned the IC champ, he should get a title shot. Give these two 10-15 minutes at Survivor Series and fans could get a high-octane bout that might steal the show.
