Theres a reason that Survivor Series used to be one of many fans favorite events of the year. Of course, its a unique concept, with a series of elimination matches, but those matches often provide interesting team dynamics, along with different scenarios than youd never normally see in a WWE match (such as 5-on-3, 3-on-1, etc.). Fans were treated to this on Monday with a 5-on-5 Survivor Series match for free, with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins captaining two teams. Rollins recruited Tag Team Champs New Day and Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens, while Reigns had the returning Usos, Ryback and Dean Ambrose. The match had great action throughout and some fun moments, such as Xavier Woods psyching himself up and running right into an elimination (ala Mark Henry last year) by the Usos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SePOE5ntcA Everyone delivered a solid performance, keeping fans invested as they whittled down to just the former members of the Shield. At that point, Rollins saved himself the indignity of losing by blasting Ambrose and Reigns with a chair, but retreated after eating a Superman Punch. It was a somewhat disappointing ending to a really good match, but it made perfect sense given that Rollins is the world champ. All in all, it was a high-energy, solid ending to a solid episode of Raw.
