10 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (April 5)

4. The Swiss Superman Returns

Put simply, Cesaro couldn€™t return at a better time. With a depleted roster being filled by NXT call-ups, the Swiss Superman returning to action helps bolster WWE€™s ranks and gives him a shot at filling a top roster spot with John Cena, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins still out.

The surprise announcement that Cesaro would take the injured Sami Zayn€™s spot in the fatal four-way match was an awesome moment in itself. The post-WrestleMania crowd has given Cesaro huge reactions in years past, so the fact he returned now only made it more special.

The only knock against his return was the fact that Cesaro didn€™t win the match. You would think that being announced as a surprise entrant in the match, the Swiss Superman would have won and become #1 contender. But Cesaro made a huge splash and hopefully will play a prominent role in WWE in the weeks and months ahead.
