Whether it was an angle to further the storyline between Charlotte and Sasha Banks or a legit injury, Sasha’s tumble from the top rope early in the WWE Women’s Championship match looked really bad, and the champ visibly struggled throughout the bout.

Still, both women managed to put on a really good match that featured moments that brought the Barclays Center to its collective feet, most notably Charlotte going for a top rope Razor’s Edge that Sasha countered into a hurricanrana. The two traded some innovative moves (a hiptoss into a Tree of Woe, a Boston Crab through the ropes, etc.), leading to Charlotte winning back the title.

Sure, it could have just been an early angle to run through the entire match, and let’s hope that’s the case, because losing Banks to an injury like this would be awful. Either way though, you have to take your hat off to the women for a heart-pounding match.
