Too often in wrestling, the old adage, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” gets turned into, “We have the same enemy, so now we’re friends!”

That’s why it was refreshing to see Dolph Ziggler return the favor from two weeks ago to Finn Balor and attack Drew McIntyre behind the referee’s back to allow the other to win. But then, rather than the two forging a friendship, we saw Finn backstage questioning Dolph’s interference.

Ziggler showed up and said, “you’re welcome” because Finn wasn’t going to win on his own, and it broke down to Dolph attacking Balor. So rather than being friends, now we see the next rivalry forming.
