10 Very Bad WWE Ideas That Only Lasted 1 Day

2. Hade Vansen

A single 2008 promo cut by Hade Vansen remains a confusing oddity for WWE fans of a certain vintage. Especially anybody that had seen Hansen work in the past.

Not that he wasn't a decent all-rounder and one of the few British wrestlers to escape a non-scene that was still on its a*se to get noticed by WWE. But was he an Undertaker opponent? After just one wordy and trope-y vignette, the answer apparently was no.

The former FWA man had signed a developmental deal with the company in 2007 but much of that had been swallowed by a knee injury. He just happened to be the green Toy Story alien selected that day rather than coaches, trainers or Vince McMahon himself isolating a very specific set of skills believed to be beneficial to working 'The Deadman'.

At just under six foot and not quite 220lbs, it's regrettably easier to understand why the gimmick was dropped than it is figure out how it happened to begin with.
