10 Very Possible Wrestling News Headlines From 2025

5. The AEW Network Launches

Steve Austin
WWE/AEW

Thanks to Dark, Dark: Elevation and the often-outstanding Road To... series, AEW has used YouTube to quietly assemble a fairly hefty back catalogue to join Dynamite, the pay-per-views and now Rampage should a streaming service be established outside of the company's relationship with Fite.

Presently, prior pay-per-view customers can watch the quarterly shows again, but the classic matches are far from easily accessible. Likewise with Dynamite - the show currently feels too young to be primed for a rewatch, but that time will come as the company grows.

A Network akin to WWE's but at half the price may lure in yet more lapsed fans, especially as the company builds and a bigger and bigger archive with which to advertise. The opportunity to see stars literally rise through the ranks from the old YouTube shows to potential title supremacy would serve as both an advert for and celebration of the company's often-divisive rankings system.
