Arguably the biggest thing that both of these men have in common is how theyve been presented throughout their careers: as sheer, unadulterated badasses. Vader earned this reputation by wrestling in Japan and adhering to the Strong Style of wrestling that involved stiff strikes and a submission-oriented match style. Moreover, Vader wrestled in UWFi, a shoot-wrestling promotion that was very MMA-oriented, and even became their top Champion. It takes a very special kind of badass to accomplish such a feat. Lesnar was always a stiff wrestler who preferred a strike-based offense. That was accentuated by his highly successful MMA career, which amplified his reputation as a total badass. To this day, Lesnar is perceived as the walking definition of the word badass: a hard-hitting, soft-spoken, take-no-prisoners Beast who does whatever he wants, regardless of the consequences. You can see why many people gravitate towards Lesnar. This also showed itself in the way they dominated their opponents. Vader, for the most part, threw his opponents around the ring with great ease, and his Sky High Chokeslam was delivered with such ferocity that it looked like he might genuinely hurt his opponent, without actually doing so. Lesnar, meanwhile, as one of the greatest finisher ever in the F-5, and his Kimura Lock is just as dangerous because he can break someones arm if he wanted to. So even though they come from different periods and from slightly different backgrounds, these are two of the baddest wrestlers ever. What do you think? Is there anything else that these two outstanding athletes share in common? Let us know in the comments section below.
