10 Ways Brock Lesnar Is A Modern Big Van Vader

2. They're Both Enormous Draws

It€™s no surprise that both Brock Lesnar and Big Van Vader were enormous draws (pun intended). The two of them share multiple PPV marquis matches, from Tokyo Dome shows, to Starrcade (in Vader€™s case), to WrestleMania (in Lesnar€™s case), which only amplifies how these two were bona fide Superstars. Brock Lesnar was a tremendous draw for WWE when he first signed with the company. He was an awesome sight to behold, and his incredible size and surprising agility made him someone who had to be seen to be believed. He was also a massive draw for UFC, drawing in millions of viewers and bringing in millions of viewers who wanted to see him fight. In fact, his UFC title defense against Frank Mir was the highest-selling UFC PPV event in history. He also main-evented a Tokyo Dome Show for NJPW, which was a huge deal when he wasn€™t working for WWE. In recent years, his status as a €˜special attraction€™ makes him a huge deal for WWE, and he sells tickets like few others can. While Lesnar was a big draw in multiple sports, Vader was a tremendous draw in different parts of the world. Whether he was wrestling in AWA or WCW in the United States, CWA in Europe, in AJPW and NJPW in Japan, or in Mexico, he brought in a huge number of viewers wherever he went. Wherever he went, he was an enormous draw, which only makes it more disappointing that he wasn€™t able to enjoy that kind of success in WWE.
