5. Triple H Taking On More Power From Vince McMahon
This show had Triple H's finger prints all over it. More than any other recent main roster special, it really felt as if Hunter was pulling the strings more than Vince McMahon was. Decisions like putting Owens over Cena clean, it is hard to envision that Vince would have called that one. If Hunter has indeed taken a greater grab of the reigns, then the future is looking up for WWE. The expectation would be that he'd replicate the critical success of NXT on to the bigger stage of Monday Night Raw. Not to knock McMahon, but he hasn't cared for 'wrestling' in many years. He books an entertainment show, with the primary objective of corporate interests. Triple H is more about old school pro wrestling and pleasing the fans.
