8. Alberto Del Rio Is Now A Firmly Established Upper Mid Card Star

The return of Alberto Del Rio was greeted as a very big deal at Hell In A Cell, with the crowd reacting tremendously for the Mexican superstar. Furthermore, the way WWE booked him, with a clean win over John Cena, it helped to establish Del Rio as a very important wrestler in WWE's future. The creative really got him over. He won a decent but short match over Cena, taking just over seven minutes to win the United States title. This means that WWE now have a future in which Del Rio is going to be the key attraction in the upper mid card spot. They got him over to the point that he could also challenge in the main event scene. He's back, and he's a big deal, a boost to the star power of the overall roster.
