The Undertaker versus Brock Lesnar was remarkable for its use of blood. Everyone knows that the red stuff is banned in the PG era, but it appeared that Taker and The Beast didn't care about that. It appeared they deliberately bled hardway. It raises something that could prove interesting in the future, can WWE really stop wrestlers bleeding via a hardway? After all, if you try to punish Brock, he could just argue that the cut was accidental. That means that feasibly anyone could now get blood and get around it with management. Taker and Brock have highlighted the drama that blood can create, and they did it in a way that can't really be proved was purposeful bleeding. Getting blood through a hardway is maybe the way forward for wrestlers wanting to take their matches to another level.
