9. Dean Ambrose Is The New Daniel Bryan
Although Dean Ambrose failed to win the WWE title, his admirable performance against Seth Rollins in the WWE Title ladder match was a sort of moral victory. He is over as the 2015 version of Daniel Bryan, the nearly man who is all the more beloved for his being held back from the big victory. Wearing jeans and a vest, he's the every-man performer that is always going to be a hot fan favourite. That bodes well for the long term. Just like Bryan a few years back, or even Mick Foley in the 90's, this type of performer always gets their day eventually, and it usually means so much more after the struggle. Ambrose's popularity isn't going to go away, and that will eventually result in him rising to the top. You can 100% bank on him as a future WWE Champion at some point. That is maybe further concerning for Daniel Bryan, as he's losing ground to a younger man who is essentially in the spot that he used to own.
