5. Rebuild The Tag Division
This is not NXT's fault.
In the last few years, NXT's tag division has been completely gutted by RAW and Smackdown. Acts like The Forgotten Sons, The Street Profits, The Broserweights have all either been called up or have been unable to perform. This has meant that NXT's tag division has felt very small and quite stale.
The Undisputed Era are a great team but the fact they have been the focus of the tag division for nearly three years has been a bit of an issue. It seems NXT are in the process of rebuilding their division with Oney Lorcan and Danny Birch winning the belts, but they will still need challengers going forward.
This is where NXT should improvise and maybe throw some acts who are floundering together. Samoa Joe and Finn Balor were a great team back in 2015, so to maybe add some main eventers into the picture would be good for the brand. It won't be long until the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is upon us, so NXT need to start establishing teams before the tournament.
