10 Ways TNA Impact Wrestling Can Improve In 2015

8. More Opening Matches, Instead Of Opening Promos

When you tune in and watch Raw and Smackdown every week, there's an incredibly good chance that you'll be watching a lengthy in-ring promo to kick off the show. Maybe it's John Cena, maybe it's Seth Rollins, maybe it's Triple H and/or Stephanie McMahon, maybe it's Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar... there are a lot of candidates. If WWE is doing that, wouldn't it just make sense for TNA to do something different? Sure, there can be the occasional promo to kick off an episode of Impact, but to stand out, perhaps the company should try to have more matches to start their television shows. With pay-per-views, your opening match is often very important, as it sets the stage for the rest of the show. You put something exciting in the opening slot, and it hooks the live crowd in right off the bat. That should go for television, too. Make the opening match something exciting... perhaps an X-Division contest or something involving a crowd favorite, and you set the table for the remaining 90-110 minutes of the show.
