NXT is one of the hottest brand in professional wrestling. Triple H deserves a great deal of credit for what he has been able to accomplish while building the developmental territory and attracting some of the most talented stars in the industry to it. One of the most critically acclaimed shows produced by WWE, it would be smart to begin introducing some of that tremendous talent that show possesses. Even if it is only for one night. A weekly NXT Spotlight would allow fans to become more familiar with the young talent while also providing main roster fans an interesting new element of SmackDown to tune in for every week. To top it all off, it may sell more WWE Network subscriptions, with fans wanting to experience NXT each and every Wednesday night. Then, when stars such as Enzo Amore and Colin "Big Cass" Cassady, Finn Balor, Hideo Itami, Tyler Breeze and Sami Zayn get called up to the main roster, there is already some sort of familiarity with them. It will benefit both those young talents and the SmackDown brand overall, while also providing fans with some tremendous pro wrestling television.
Erik Beaston is a freelance pro wrestling writer who likes long walks in the park, dandelions and has not quite figured out that this introduction is not for Match.com. He resides in Parts Unknown, where he hosts weekly cookouts with Kane, The Ultimate Warrior, Papa Shango and The Boogeyman. Be jealous.
