10 Ways To Improve Samoa Joe In WWE

5. Jesus Christ His Music Is Awful

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lps9bKjCzl4 WWE's funny. In researching Samoa Joe, they clearly noted that in Ring of Honor, he used LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out" as his theme music, with the intro from Pharoahe Monch's "Simon Says" as the intro. However, both of these songs are so uniquely iconic (and also tied to Joe), that if you attempt to create a knockoff, it's inevitably going to sound terrifically cut-rate. Thus, Joe's NXT debut was accompanied by crickets, because pretty much the entire building was unaware of who was coming or aware of who was coming and feeling like, "really WWE, really? This is the best you can do?" In realizing their error, the full "Simon Says" knockoff that they're presently using is pretty awful, too. How the guys at CFO$ haven't been called in to sit down with the very musically astute Joe to come up with something that is all WWE's own and still reflective of the vibe of his persona is insane. Though it may not seem that way to some, in WWE, theme music is INCREDIBLY important and makes/breaks some characters.
