10 Ways To Re-Brand WWE SmackDown

1. Cliffhangers Have To Play Out On SmackDown

This picture is from SmackDown in 1999 when Triple H defended his title against The Rock and Shawn Michaels turned on The Great One to help his best friend retain the WWE title. That's how important the show was back in 1999. In order to make this show great again, the biggest thing that needs to happen is that RAW needs to go off the air with a cliffhanger and that resolve needs to happen on SmackDown three days later. If, for example, Dean Ambrose destroys Brock Lesnar on RAW and runs off, that Thursday the first thing we should see is Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman in the ring screaming about vengeance and that they won't leave the building until The Beast gets his hands on Ambrose. I don't watch SmackDown regularly because WWE don't give me any reason to check it out every week. Instead, I read the results and rarely, I'll go and watch something that looks good. Whereas with a different commentary team, an NXT match, an exclusive IC title and cliffhangers that play out on Thursdays, if that all happened, I'd be watching SmackDown every single week without fail. Wouldn't you? What do you think of these changes to re-brand SmackDown? What changes would you like to see made? Let us know in the comments!
