10 Ways To Save WrestleMania 31 After Royal Rumble Disaster

10. Have Roman Reigns Eat Some Humble Pie

WWE are in dangerous territory with their chosen one. He could fall into the same category as John Cena and be the hate figure of a couple of their Universe's generations. It was a shame that we were put through another predictable Rumble for the third year in a row. From the moment the former Shield member made his way through the crowd to enter at number 19, the writing was on the wall. WWE backed Reigns into the classic underdog's corner when they had the two biggest guys in the Rumble, Kane and The Big Show, team up on him. The veterans certainly 'made him look strong'. What the creative teams need to do now, as illogical as it sounds, is have Reigns eat some humble pie. Just to prove that he isn't being shoved down our throats, so to speak. He has a Rumble win the main event match at WrestleMania XXXI which is all the legitimacy he needs so having him backed into a few uncompromising positions wouldn't be the worst thing. A couple of clean defeats to fellow main eventers and a few situations where the odds are stacked against him will do him the power of good. Having him go into the main event at Mania in indifferent form will make his potential WWE World Heavyweight Championship win a lot more interesting rather than the formality that it seems to be.
