10 Ways To Save WrestleMania 31 After Royal Rumble Disaster

4. Cesaro - Give The Fans What They Want

How do you solve a problem like Cesaro? The man has everything. Well almost, his promos could be described as solid for the want of a better word. However, he has been accused of failing to connect with the WWE Universe by Vince McMahon himself, a criticism that made Vinne Mac look very stupid last night. Cesaro teamed with Tyson Kidd to take on The New Day team of Kofi Kingston and Big E in the pre show, yet still managed to get the Philly crowd out of their seats and chanting his name. Something that has rarely, if ever, been seen in a pre show match before. This isn't a one off for the Swiss Superman either, he is generally well received wherever he goes yet has failed to receive the big push his skills deserve. He looked set to be the winner of this year's Rumble as he won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXXI. A win at last night's event would have been another step on his road to the top. Things fell apart for Cesaro after that infamous interview with the Liverpool Echo where he said: "I'm sick of seeing John Cena against Randy Orton for the 500th time." He said what the entire WWE Universe has though for at least five years and has definitely paid the price. It's time Vince stopped hiding behind the lack of a connection excuse and allowed this man to spread his wings and fly. He's served his sentence over the last seven or eight months and has seemingly kept his nose clean (apart from criticising his entrance music) so should be afforded to opportunity to fulfil his potential. Surely what the fans want is best for business, right?
