Fans were hoping that a match between Cody Rhodes and Goldust would take place at last year's WrestleMania, but these two have been stuck in a kind of limbo since then (despite Cody becoming Stardust). Things finally picked up before Fast Lane, and the ending of their match at that show appeared to indicate that another on the grandest stage of them all was definitely going to happen. Unfortunately, recent events have begun to indicate otherwise. Stardust has seemingly set his sights on the race for the Intercontinental Championship, and right now, it seems like the blow off to this long building feud will happen in that ladder match. That's a massive disappointment and will rob fans of something they've hoped to see for a long time. Fastlane gave the WWE Universe just a taste of the greatness that a lengthier match between these two could deliver and WrestleMania 31 will suffer without it.
