6. Sami Zayn Becomes United States Champion To Defend In Weekly Open Challenge
*NXT SPOILER ALERT* On NXT TV leading up to Takeover Dallas, William Regal all but says that Sami Zayn's match with Shinsuke Nakamura at Takeover will be Zayn's swansong from NXT which would lead one to believe that he'll end up on the main roster shortly after WrestleMania. One of Zayn's biggest strengths is his likeability along with his portrayal as an underdog. Once Zayn is settled onto the main roster this spring, he'd be an ideal candidate to capture the WWE United States Championship. After winning the title, it would fit Sami's character that he'd want to be a fighting champion, so he'd bring back the US Open Challenge every Monday Night on RAW. A whole summer of the ultimate underdog facing all comers of all shapes and sizes while he valiantly tries to cling to his precious United States Championship would be an excellent story and allow the main roster fans to see what NXT fans fell in love with Sami Zayn for, his never give up attitude and his courage. Sami Zayn could be a huge star in the WWE and a summer run with the US title, defending it every Monday is just the kind of thing that could kick start the former El Generico's career on the big stage of WWE.
